To Passengers using “Suica” or “PASMO” card
“Suica” card can be used on the Fujikyu Railway and other transportation services in the Fuji Five Lakes area.
“Suica” card can be used on Fujikyu Company trains, local buses, and taxis in the Fuji Five Lakes area (IC card other than “Suica” card can used as well).
Please confirm the following when transferring between JR line and Fujikyu Railway.
❶ If you`re using only an IC card
Passengers with no other tickets or pass, you may pass the gates without swiping your card.
Please swipe your card on the machine at your destination.
❷ If you are using train ticket and IC card together
Please give your Fujikyu Railway ticket at the gate and swipe your IC card on the orange IC card scanner.
※ If you need fare adjustment, please go to the transfer wicket
Please notify the staff at the gates.
Please swipe your IC card on the blue IC card scanner and present your Fujikyu Railway train ticket at the gates.
Please notify the staff at the gates.
※ If you need fare adjustment, please do so at the JR ticket office.
❸ If you are using train tickets for both lines
If you already have tickets or pass valid for both lines (single ticket or two tickets), please show your tickets at the gates.
❹ If you don`t have a ticket to transfer
You must exit the station once, and purchase your ticket at the corresponding ticket office.
IC card besides “Suica” such as “PASMO,” “ICOCA,” and other IC cards can be used as well on Fujikyu Railway.
※ Passengers who took JR direct trains, please ask the station you get off.
※ The term train ticket includes basic fare tickets, multiple-trip tickets, commuter pass, tickets purchased at travel agency, and other tickets which you can use to take trains.
Please make sure you swipe your card on the scanner properly.
① Put your IC card in the card holder
② Put in one bill
③ Press the charge button (blue button)
④ Take out your card
To add more money, repeat the process above (one bill at a time).
※ IC card charger can be used only during business hours.
※ Only 1000, 2000, 5000 yen bills can be used.
※ No change will be given.

IC card charger can be used only during business hours. If the station you get off is closed and your card is insufficient, you cannot use the charger. Please make sure you have enough money on your card before you use it. If you want to print out the record of your card, please come to the ticket office.
※ There is no IC card charger at Gekkoji station.
● What to do if your IC card is insufficient, but the station is closed
If your IC card is insufficient and the station is closed or unmanned, you`ll need to have a fare adjustment the next time you visit a station office. Your card cannot be used until then.
● When printing out the record of your card
To print out the record of your card, you must go to the station office during business hours. We can print out up to 20 of the latest records of your card. If your card hasn`t been swiped properly on the scanner, it may not be recorded.
