Q-BIKE Now Available at Kawaguchiko Station from August 1, 2025

Starting August 1, 2025 (Friday), our convenient station-connected bike rental service “Q-BIKE” will launch at Kawaguchiko Station!

“Q-BIKE” is a user-friendly rental service that allows you to rent and return bicycles through the dedicated smartphone app “Bike Share Service.” Everything from checking bike availability, unlocking bikes, to payment can be done via your phone.
All bikes are electric-assisted, making them ideal for comfortably exploring the hilly areas around Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi.

Kawaguchiko Station is a popular gateway to some of the best sights in the Fuji Five Lakes region, including breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi. With bike ports installed directly at the station, Q-BIKE offers seamless second-leg transport for both travelers and locals, enabling smoother, more flexible mobility in the area.
Q-BIKE aims to improve accessibility and encourage regional tourism, serving both residents and international visitors alike.

Start Date: August 1, 2025 (Fri)
Note: Service may be suspended due to weather or snow conditions.

Number of Bikes: 3
Bikes must be returned to the same location. Rentals may not be available when all units are in use or reserved.

Hours of Use: 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM
For “1-Day Pass” users, bikes must be returned by 5:00 PM.

Rental Fees:
¥1,100 / 1 hour (Extension: ¥1,100 per additional hour, Max: ¥4,400)

You can choose from three rental options:

① Bike Share Service App

• Download the app to reserve and unlock your bike.
• Fee: ¥1,100/hour (¥4,400/day maximum)

② 1-Day Pass

• Fee: ¥4,400/day
• Available at: Kawaguchiko Station (Baggage Storage Counter)
• No app registration required. Just tap your card key to ride.

③ Convenience Store Pass

• Fee: ¥4,400/day
• Available at:
• ・7-Eleven (via multi-function copy machine)
• ・FamilyMart (via FamiPort terminal)
• Also requires no registration. Ideal for travelers on the go.

Q-BIKE is also available at Shimoyoshida Station and Tsuru-bunka-daigakumae Station.
